What services does Chabad of Downtown host?

Chabad of Downtown hosts a Shabbat morning service at 10:30 AM followed by a Kiddush. We also have holiday services.

We are located at 15A Clarence Square, Toronto, ON M5V 1H1.

Where can I get kosher wine?

We do not have minyans outside of Shabbos and holidays. For weekday minyans, please search downtown at FrumToronto, or search “Toronto” at GoDaven.

 

No, there is no eruv in downtown Toronto.

Visit COR for a list of kosher dining options in Toronto. Kosher options downtown are highly limited.

There are a few places that may carry kosher meat at times:

  • Metro, 425 Bloor Street West (20-25 mins), $: chicken and cold cuts

  • Organic Garage, 42 Hanna Avenue (15 mins), $$: organic chicken

Kosher wine is sold throughout Toronto at select LCBO locations (an agency of Ontario). You can find a store near you at https://www.lcbo.com/en/stores and then enter Kosher into the search box and see what is available at the local store.

The kosher wine Bartenura Moscato isn’t listed in the kosher search and is available in almost every LCBO store. It is not stocked in the same section as the kosher wine
